Why Aluminium Bronze Wins in Salt Water
Carbon steel rusts in seawater. Common stainless grades pit in hot brine. ASTM B148 aluminium bronze is a copper alloy made for exactly these lines.
The alloy does the hard work, so maintenance stays light
B148 bronze does not rust in salt water, carries high-pressure classes, and resists wear from sand in the flow. The valve keeps closing tightly for years, with fewer overhauls and fewer spare parts.
