CARILO Valves – Proven Performance You Can Rely On
Featured here are CARILO API 6D LCC ball valves. The product range includes two models: a 10 inch, 150 pound class trunnion mounted valve, and a 3 inch, 300 pound class floating ball valve. As indicated on the product labels, both valves are of cast construction—the trunnion type is marked as “Casting Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve” and the floating type as “Casting Floating Ball Valve.”
Our client had previously encountered leakage problems with valves supplied by another manufacturer. Those issues occurred after actuator installation, causing operational concerns. In contrast, the CARILO valves underwent thorough hydrostatic testing. The tests were performed not only before actuator installation and commissioning, but also after the actuators were fully set up and operated. All test procedures were carried out in the presence of an accredited third party inspection body and the client’s own representatives, who jointly witnessed every step. The results confirmed that all CARILO valves passed the hydrostatic tests with no leakage or other deficiencies.
These valves are now destined for a refinery project in North America. In addition, a natural gas gathering station project is currently underway, also involving our valve solutions.
